I'm Jay King. I run Jay's Property Management LLC out of Frederick, and I have been doing hands-on work across Frederick County since 2019.

How I work

  • I answer the phone. Call or text and you reach me, the person who decides the price and shows up for the job.
  • I quote it. Every job gets a free written quote first, usually the same day, depending on the size of the job.
  • I do the job. The person who quotes the work is the person who does it.
  • Cleanup is included. When I am done, the space gets swept.

If something on the job changes the scope, you hear about it and approve it before I do it. There is a $100 minimum, and you pay when the work is done, by cash, check, card or app.

What I do

Junk removal, move-out and estate cleanouts, light demolition, handyman repairs, rental turnovers and landlord maintenance. Despite the name, this site is about the hands-on work: hauling, cleanouts, repairs and turnovers.

I don't haul hazardous material: liquid paint and solvents, chemicals, fuel, asbestos or medical waste. The full list is on what I take.

Where and when

Frederick County only: Frederick, Brunswick, Middletown, Walkersville, Thurmont and the rest of the county. Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Jay's Property Management LLC, 5738 Jefferson Pike, Frederick, MD 21703.
